Terms of service

The terms, in plain words.

This is the agreement between you and Fido CRM when you use the web app or the iPhone and iPad app. It is short because there is not much to hide.

Last updated September 4, 2026

The agreement

By creating an account or using Fido CRM ("Fido", "we", "us") you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you are using Fido for a company, you are agreeing on the company's behalf and you are telling us you are allowed to.

Your account

  • One seat is one person. Sharing a sign-in between people is not allowed, and it makes the audit log useless anyway.
  • Keep your password to yourself and tell us straight away if you think someone else has it.
  • The person who set up the account is responsible for the people they invite and for what those people do in it.
  • You have to be 16 or older to use Fido.

Your data

Everything your team puts into Fido is yours: the companies, people, deals, notes, tasks and anything captured from your inbox or calendar. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not look at it unless you ask us to help with something or the law requires it.

You can export every table to CSV from inside the app at any time. If you close the account, we delete your data within thirty days of your request, except where we have to keep a record for tax or legal reasons.

You are responsible for what you put in. That means having the right to store the contact details you store, and telling the people on your team what the CRM is for.

Acceptable use

Use Fido to run a sales pipeline. Do not use it to:

  • Send spam or unlawful messages, or store data you do not have the right to hold.
  • Break into, overload or interfere with the service, or probe it for weaknesses without telling us first.
  • Copy, resell or rent access to Fido, or build a competing product by scraping it.
  • Upload anything that infringes someone else's rights or breaks the law.

If an account is doing one of these things we will contact you where we can, and we may suspend or close the account if it does not stop.

Plans and billing

  • Solo is free for one person and up to 1,000 contacts, with no card and no time limit.
  • Team is priced per seat, per month, as shown on the pricing page. Everyone who can sign in is a seat. Annual billing is ten months for twelve.
  • Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Any first payment is refundable for thirty days, no questions asked. After that, monthly plans can be cancelled and annual plans are refunded for unused whole months.
  • If a payment fails and is not fixed, the account goes read only. Everyone can still sign in and export. Nothing is deleted unless you ask.
  • Prices are in US dollars. Tax is added where it applies. We will email you at least thirty days before any price change reaches your account.

Subscriptions are bought on the website, not inside the iPhone and iPad app.

Other services you connect

Fido can connect to Google, to a call recording provider, to a data enrichment provider, and to an AI model that writes meeting prep and list briefs from your records. Each of those runs under its own terms. Connecting Google is a read only grant that you can revoke from Fido or from your Google account at any time. What each provider receives is set out in the privacy policy.

Availability

We work to keep Fido up and quick, and we tell you when something breaks. We do not promise a specific uptime, and we may take the service down for short maintenance, usually outside working hours.

Leaving

You can stop using Fido whenever you like. Cancel from Settings, export what you need, and email support@fidocrm.com if you want the account deleted. We can end this agreement if you break these terms and do not fix it after we ask, or if we shut the service down, in which case you get at least sixty days' notice and your data to take with you.

Liability

Fido is provided as it is. We do our best, but we cannot promise it will be free of errors or always available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost data, and our total liability to you for anything arising from this agreement is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

If we change something that matters, we email every account owner at least thirty days before it takes effect. Small wording fixes just get posted here with a new date at the top. Continuing to use Fido after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Fido CRM is based, and any dispute will be handled in the courts there. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
